LEXAI: Your AI-Powered Legislation Assistant
LEXAI is the AI-powered legislation search and analysis tool offered by the TR2B platform. It performs semantic search across thousands of Turkish legislation documents, generating comprehensive answers to your questions along with the most relevant legislative sources.
Going beyond traditional text search, LEXAI grasps the meaning of your question and intelligently finds related regulations, laws, communiqués, and circulars. Moreover, it doesn't just list documents; it generates a custom, source-based answer to your specific question.
How Does LEXAI Work?
LEXAI's working principle is based on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), one of the most current approaches in modern AI research.
1. Understanding Your Question
When you ask LEXAI a question, the system first analyzes your question at the semantic level. When you ask something like "what information should be on a honey label?", the system evaluates this not just as words, but in the context of food labeling and honey products.
2. Legislation Scanning
After determining the meaning of your question, the system performs a semantic search across thousands of legislation documents. Unlike traditional search engines, LEXAI uses meaning similarity instead of word matching. This allows it to find contextually important documents even if they aren't directly related to your question.
3. Source Analysis
Found legislation documents are ranked by relevance scores. Documents with the highest relevance scores are included in the answer generation process.
4. Answer Generation
LEXAI analyzes the found legislative sources to create a comprehensive, question-specific answer. Since the answer is based directly on legislation texts, it contains reliable and verifiable information. Sources used are listed below each answer.
LEXAI Features
Semantic Search
LEXAI processes your questions on a meaning basis, not a word basis. This allows it to correctly interpret the rich structure of Turkish and the complexity of legislative language. An "import procedures" search also covers related concepts like "customs operations", "foreign trade", and "imported products".
Source Citation
LEXAI clearly shows the legislative sources used in each answer. You can click on the source name to access the full text of the relevant legislation document. This transparency ensures the verifiability of the information provided.
Real-Time Process Tracking
LEXAI's terminal-style interface shows every step of the search process in real-time: processing your question, scanning the legislation database, finding relevant documents, and preparing the answer. This way, you can see the transparency of the process.
Ready-Made Question Suggestions
Pre-made question suggestions are offered for first-time LEXAI users. These suggestions help you discover the tool's capabilities. You can start with ready-made questions on various topics from food safety to customs operations, energy drinks to baby food.
Legislation Coverage
LEXAI's database covers the following types of legislation:
- Regulations: Regulatory texts published by ministries and institutions
- Laws: Legal regulations enacted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly
- Communiqués: Implementation principles published in the Official Gazette
- Circulars: Explanatory documents from institutions regarding implementation
- Decree Laws: Decrees having the force of law
Difference Between LEXAI and LEXBOT
There are two legislation tools on the TR2B platform:
- LEXBOT (Legislation Robot): A legislation search tool that performs traditional text searching. It lists documents through keyword matching. It offers access to document details, filtering, and original document downloading.
- LEXAI (AI Legislation Assistant): An advanced tool offering semantic search and AI answer generation. It understands your question and creates comprehensive answers based on legislation. It also provides access to all documents offered by LEXBOT as sources.
Who Can Use It?
LEXAI can be used by anyone who wants to access legislation:
- Exporters and Importers: To track customs and trade legislation
- Food Producers: To learn about food safety and labeling regulations
- Legal Consultants: To speed up legislation research
- SMEs: To understand compliance requirements
