What is an HS Code?

The Harmonized System (HS) is an international nomenclature for the classification of products. It allows participating countries to classify traded goods on a common basis for customs purposes. HS codes are used to identify products in international trade and determine applicable customs duties and taxes.

What is GTİP?

GTİP (Customs Tariff Statistical Position) is the Turkish customs classification system based on the international HS coding system. Each GTİP code identifies a specific product category for customs, import/export regulations, and tax calculations in Turkish foreign trade.
